The H&M on 42nd St & 5th ave is having 25% off entire purchases on Black Friday (the day after Thanksgiving) from 6 – 10 am ET. Yes, I know it’s early. It might just motivate me to go to work earlier. I opted to work on Friday. The workaholic mentality of a freelancer. If I don’t work- I don’t get paid.
My clothes don’t fit properly these days so I’ve been on a semi-budgeted shopping spree. Rather than buy expensive jeans to replace my expensive jeans- I was on the hunt for expensive like jeans for cheap. I didn’t win any of my ebay bids soooo that had me hitting the streets for the next GREAT thing.
After a tip from a friend- I went to Uniqlo the Japanese wonderstore- right next to Muji the next new Japanese wonderstore. I’ve been to Uniqlo before but never for their jeans. OMG. I have been missing out. The denim quality is amazing as are most of their rinses- and the price- unbeatable.
They were having a 25% off new denim sale because it’s their one year anniversary. I bought two pairs of skinny jeans for $37.15 each. Their regularly priced at $49.99. I also got an earlier seasoned pair of jeans for $29.99. It’s a heavier denim and wider leg.
I also scored a long down coat that’s somehow manages to be sleek and semi-stylish.
I bought two pairs of jeans for the bf- but they were too tight for his liking despite being the widest cut for guys there. Apparently, Uniqlo believes in the tight rocker look for men. The bf is pretty lean too.
I wore one of the skinny jeans yesterday and it felt like I was wearing soft sweatpants. I almost slept in them.
I heart Uniqlo jeans.
I have to stop myself from going back to buy backups of these ones.
I am looking forward to checking out Muji soon. I love Muji. Yes, sometimes I can be a consumer slut.
